What’s New
In K-12 Competency-Based Education provides brief reviews of innovations,
research, resources, and professional learning opportunities in the field.
These include a report on elevating student voice, strategies for onboarding
teachers in personalized schools, research on promoting growth mindset, and
more.
Last, two upcoming iNACOL events were announced: - The Strategic
Reflection on the Field of Competency-Based Education webinar
will take place on October 1 from 2:00-3:00 pm ET. Join the webinar to gain an
understanding of developments in the field and insights to inform the future
direction of competency-based education.
- The esteemed keynote
speakers for the iNACOL Symposium will inform, inspire, and propel
thinking around powerful, student-centered learning models, while examining the
role of education in the future. Brief bios of each speaker are presented. The
Symposium will take place October 28-31 in Palm Springs, California.
