Dear Colleagues:

  2. Building Consensus for Change at D51
  3. The Vision of Performance-Based Education at D51
  4. Holacracy: Organizing for Change at D51

  7. Supporting Teachers at D51: A Conversation with the Professional Learning Facilitators

What is the relationship between competency education in K-12 and higher education? A new four-part reflection explores the similarities and differences, how competency education is developing in each sector, ways to streamline the transition, and design elements:

  1. Some of These Things are Not Like the Others: CBE in Higher Ed and K12
  2. The Field of CBE in Higher Education and K12
  3. Streamlining the Transition between K12 and Higher Education
  4. Thinking about Design Elements and Quality Standards

iNACOL released a new report: What’s Possible with Personalized Learning? This report is designed to inform schools, families and communities about the potential of personalized learning. Through case studies, this paper illustrates what personalized learning looks like in practice, provides examples of teachers personalizing learning in their schools and districts, and shares student perspectives on how new instructional designs are meeting their unique needs.
