Proof of vaccination, negative COVID-19 test, or health screenings are not required, and wearing a face mask during the event is optional. However, individuals who fall within any of the categories below should not participate in the Aurora Institute Symposium 2023. <\/span><\/p>\n

-Individuals who are fully vaccinated AND have come into close contact with someone with COVID-19 within five full days preceding the event; <\/span>or <\/span><\/p>\n

-Individuals who have a positive viral test for COVID-19 within five full days preceding the event, regardless of whether or not they have systems; or <\/span><\/p>\n

-Individuals with current symptoms of COVID-19 or who have had COVID-19 symptoms within five full days preceding the event, including people awaiting test results or who have not been tested.<\/span><\/p>\n

We ask participants to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 during the event and withdraw from event participation promptly if they experience any symptoms.<\/span><\/p>\n

Presenter Information<\/h5>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”When will the RFP open for presentation proposal submissions?” el_class=”reveal”]The RFP will open on March 23, 2020.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”When will we be notified if our proposal is accepted?” el_class=”reveal”]You will receive an email notification sometime in June if your proposal has been accepted, waitlisted, or declined.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How many presenters can lead a session?” el_class=”reveal”]There is a limit of six presenters: a lead presenter and five co-presenters.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”I submitted a proposal and listed several co-presenters. Will everyone receive notification of acceptance?” el_class=”reveal”]Yes. The submitter and all presenters will receive correspondence regarding their presentation proposal. However, it is the lead presenter\u2019s responsibility to communicate pertinent information regarding the session\/workshop to their co-presenters.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”May I make changes to my proposal after it\u2019s been accepted?” el_class=”reveal”]Yes. You will be notified of dates to edit your proposal via email. This includes replacing or removing presenters.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”My proposal has been accepted. What is provided in each room?” el_class=”reveal”]All of the pre-conference workshops and breakout sessions are equipped with a screen (16:9 ratio for presentations), LCD projector, wireless hand-held and lavalier microphones, chairs for the panelists, external speakers for sound; wireless internet service, and a hard-wired connection for the presenter. Each room is set in table rounds of ten.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do you provide laptops?” el_class=”reveal”]No. Presenters must bring their own computer.
