Natalie Slocum is Strategic Partnerships Director at Aurora Institute. In this role, she leads Aurora Institute’s field-building and convening efforts to provide a platform to advance innovative approaches that transform education for youth across the United States and around the world. She works to convene the field and catalyze change at every level of the system to build the field of education innovation. Through her work, Aurora is the “connective tissue” for future-focused, equity-driven education partners across the country. In prior roles at Aurora Institute, Natalie has led strategic communications, provided project management for its CompetencyWorks initiative, and led fundraising and development efforts. She earned a Master’s degree and B.A. from James Madison University. She lives in Richmond, VA with her husband Phil and two young children, Aubrey and Hudson.
