Natalie Truong serves as Policy Director of Aurora Institute to transform K-12 education through federal and state policy. Previously, Natalie was a Policy Analyst in the Education Division of the National Governors Association’s Center for Best Practices, supporting work on competency-based education, postsecondary education and youth transitions to workforce training and development. She began her career as an English teacher and debate coach in Washington, D.C. and Prince George’s County Public Schools, Maryland.
Natalie holds a M.Ed from Johns Hopkins University and dual degrees in English and Political Science from Grinnell College. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Education Policy and Leadership at George Mason University.
