What is competency education? <\/em>To answer this question, we need to have strong communication strategies and messages.<\/p>\n To help us improve our communication strategies, Springpoint Schools<\/a> (along with Great Schools Partnership<\/a>, New York City’s Mastery Collaborative<\/a>, Next Generation Learning Challenges<\/a>, KnowledgeWorks<\/a>, Getting Smart<\/a>, reDesign<\/a>, CompetencyWorks<\/a>, and iNACOL<\/a>) has organized Mastery Week<\/em><\/a>. Throughout this week, we will be shining the spotlight on insights and best practices on communications regarding competency education. (See the flyer on Mastery Week<\/a> for more information)<\/p>\n There will be digital sharing and online collaboration that can help schools and districts develop their communications plans. Each day during Mastery Week, our Mastery Week site will feature an article from one organization on a specific area of mastery communications. You\u2019ll also find stories and resources from practitioners that illuminate successful approaches.
