On Thursday, June 25, iNACOL hosted a Special Edition Webinar featuring Susan Patrick, President and CEO of iNACOL, and Chris Sturgis, Principal of MetisNet, as they discussed the recent\u00a0CompetencyWorks report titled, Implementing Competency Education in K-12 Systems: Insights from Local Leaders<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Over the past five years, Chris visited competency-based schools and districts throughout the country and engaged in powerfully insightful conversations in which leading innovators provided insights to opportunities and challenges encountered in the transition to competency education.<\/p>\n This paper seeks to map out district implementation strategies being used to convert traditional, time-based systems of education into personalized, competency-based learning infrastructures.
