The US Department of Education (ED) is going to conduct a study of data-driven instruction and is requesting public comments on the data collection for the study.<\/p>\n

The website for ED\u00a0Agency Information Collection Activities; Comment Request; Impact Evaluation of Data-Driven Instruction Professional Development for Teachers <\/em>can be accessed here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

ED\u00a0is proposing a new data information collection activity. The objective is to understand how data-driven instruction is implemented and to estimate its impacts on student achievement and teacher and principal practices.<\/p>\n

ED’s\u00a0proposed new study would evaluate data-driven instruction in 104 traditional, brick-and-mortar schools from 12 school districts. USED does not plan to include any blended or online schools.<\/p>\n
