Discover how Juab School District has implemented a personalized professional learning program through its teacher leadership pathway. Hear about lessons learned over the last five years, recognition structures, and their use of micro-credentials. Participants will come to understand the value of competency-based micro-credentials and have the opportunity to design a professional development pathway — for themselves or their school — choosing micro-credentials that are interest-aligned and support district goals.

Session Learning Outcomes:

  1. Learn how micro-credentials can be used to support educators on their professional journey and promote the development of new skills.
  2. Leaders will facilitate group discussions about school or district learning needs and goals and assist in curating micro-credentials that can support those goals.
  3. Learn about designing professional learning systems that use research-based frameworks, school and district data, and micro-credentials.
