We will focus on the Harbor Freight Fellows Initiative, a partnership between Big Picture Learning and the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Foundations to support trades-bound youth. The session will bring together youth, Mentors, and Advisors to talk about their experience. Participants will have the opportunity to explore this program for their own communities. The session will include small group break outs, video, Q&A, and “how to” information.

Session Learning Outcomes:

  1. Learn the nuts and bolts of the program and review student outcome data.
  2. Explore the opportunities in your own regions for trades bound youth and how to take advantage of those opportunities.
  3. Explore work site experience for ALL students and an innovative framework for student achievement.
