Jeffco’s Director of Online Learning provides information about their program and their approach to professional development, using online Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to support collaboration and sharing of best practices with peers. Jeffco has been widely successful, training over 500 teachers in their district, and they began an online/blended teacher certification program to meet the growing demand for trained online/blended teachers.
