CompetencyWorks: Maximizing Competency Education and Blended Learning: Insights from Experts

On Wednesday, June 10, 2015, iNACOL hosted a Leadership Webinar featuring Susan Patrick, President and CEO of iNACOL, and Chris Sturgis, Principal of MetisNet, as they discussed their recently co-authored CompetencyWorks report titled, Maximizing Competency Education and Blended Learning: Insights from Experts.

In May 2014, twenty-three technical assistance providers convened to discuss the implementation of new learning models, to share knowledge and expertise, and to discuss next steps to advance the field. The convening findings informed this report, which discusses the implications of personalized learning as a main pillar of school design, structured around ensuring equity and quality.

In this webinar, the authors will discuss the report’s insights, reiterate lessons learned by early adopters, and provide recommendations to catalyze the transformation of the field toward blended and competency-based education.
