iNACOL Webinar Presents An Introduction to Maker Education for Teachers

Washington, D.C. (March 2, 2017) – On Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET, the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) will be hosting a webinar to showcase how teachers are introducing maker education to their students.

Maker education is about giving students access to a new class of technologies, enabling students to design, build, invent and problem solve in new and unique ways. This type of “maker” learning allows students to transform ideas into reality, sparks interest in STEM careers and develops growth mindset, curiosity, self-efficacy and collaborative problem-solving skills.

How can teachers introduce maker education into their schools or classrooms? Join this webinar to learn how to get started with makerspaces, and leave with practical examples to engage your students.
