Accountability and Assessments to Support Student-Centered Teaching and Learning
Susan Patrick, iNACOL President and CEO, and Maria Worthen, iNACOL Vice President for State and Federal Policy, will be part of a panel discussion about student-centered teaching and learning. Other people on the panel include Virgel Hammonds and Lillian Pace of KnowledgeWorks, along with a group of practitioners from Pearson’s Teachability community.
The one-hour panel discussion, Accountability and Assessments to Support Student-Centered Teaching and Learning, will be held on August 27 at 4:00 pm EDT, and will focus on:

- How can authentic assessments fit into an accountability framework?
- What are essential design elements to ensure equity in different forms of accountability?
- What are the top five questions your school or district should ask itself about accountability?
