The University of Colorado’s Center for Education Policy Analysis conducted the first comparative study in October 2012, which explored K-12 student and parent experiences in both online and face-to-face environments. The Colorado Department of Education conducted the second study, which used data to explore key trends and characteristics of students enrolled in online learning.
