iNACOL Webinar Examines State Policy Opportunities for Personalized Learning Under the Every Student Succeeds Act

WASHINGTON, D.C., (Oct. 17, 2016) – On Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET, iNACOL is hosting a Leadership Webinar to examine state policy opportunities for personalized learning under the new federal K-12 education law, the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).

States have a historic opportunity under ESSA to transform K-12 education and redefine the goals of K-12 education systems toward a broader definition of student success.

What are the opportunities for states under ESSA and how can state leaders leverage them? What education systems do we need to fully prepare students for success? How do we think about advancing a comprehensive statewide policy approach to ensure every student can access powerful, personalized learning opportunities in order to develop the knowledge, skills and competencies they will need to be successful?

Join this webinar to hear how state leaders can put these ideas into action.

Susan Patrick, iNACOL President and CEO, said, “State education leaders have a historic opportunity to examine and redefine student success. ESSA empowers states to focus next generation models on high expectations for all students, a broader definition of student success, in a graduate profile and work together with communities to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation for equity. States will be examining new strategies for school improvement, establishing an evidence base for what works in effective teaching and learning and moving forward to support educators and students with more personalized approaches.”

This webinar is free to attend—participants are invited to register here for final details and login information.
