iNACOL Webinar Explores How Teachers Are Leading the Transition Toward Personalized Learning
WASHINGTON, D.C. (Feb. 2, 2017) – On Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET, the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) is hosting a Teacher Talk webinar to explore how teachers are leading the transition of their schools and districts toward personalized learning to improve learning experiences for all students.
Teachers across the country are developing new learning designs to personalize instruction and meet the unique needs of each student. Join this webinar to learn first-hand from teachers and leaders from Pennsylvania’s East Pennsboro Area School District on leading transformative change from traditional classroom models toward personalized learning models. Learn how to begin and lead the transition toward personalized learning in your own school or district to design learning environments for students to excel and thrive.
iNACOL CEO Susan Patrick said, “Across the world, teachers are changing their instructional models and shifting practice by personalizing learning. Personalized learning requires effective teaching, first and foremost, as well as new strategies and methods in a cycle of goal setting, supports, pathways and students showing what they know. When instruction is customized to each students’ needs, interests and pathways, teachers create powerful, personalized learning opportunities each day. This paradigm shift from one-size-fits-all content delivery to preparing each and every student for success also helps build skills for entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation.”
This webinar is free to attend — participants are invited to register here for final details and login information.
