iNACOL Webinar Illuminates Ways Teachers Can Get Started with Maker Education

Washington, D.C. (August 18, 2016) – On Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. ET, the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) is hosting a Teacher Talk Webinar to show teachers how they can introduce maker education into their school or classroom.

Maker education is about giving students access to a new class of technologies, enabling students to design, build, invent and problem solve in new and unique ways. This type of tinkering allows students to transform ideas into reality, sparks interest in STEM careers and develops growth mindset, curiosity, self-efficacy and collaborative problem-solving.
