Making More Learning Visible: The Frontiers of Assessment and Credentialing – Symposium 2022

This session takes an international perspective on innovation in assessment and credentialing. It showcases work under way to assess a broader range of skills and capabilities and to design more holistic high school credentials. We will look at examples from contexts in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK. Participants will be introduced to a set of principles for interrogating assessment designs, in particular assessment that will be used for high-stakes credentialing purposes.

Learn about alternative approaches to assessing and credentialing learner capabilities.
Examine real-world examples of practices in development in countries beyond the U.S.
Learn about and practice applying a framework to evaluate assessment designs.
