Will the Symposium 2022 be in-person or virtual?
The Aurora Institute Symposium 2022 will be held virtually on October 24-26, due to health and safety considerations with travel and hosting large in-person gatherings. We hope you will join us.
When will folks who have submitted proposals to present at Symposium 2022 receive responses about submissions?
Those who submitted proposals for panels, workshops, and pop-up problems of practice will hear back by Monday, May 9th, 2022. Those who submitted videos for consideration will hear back from the Aurora team by Thursday, June 30.
Who attends the Aurora Institute Symposium?
The Aurora Institute Symposium hosts a “big tent” of education innovators from across the education transformation space. Attendees include K-12 system and school administrators and educators, as well as technical assistance providers, researchers, policymakers, vendors and nonprofits working to advance next generation learning. This year’s virtual event is designed to build the capacity of the K-12 field to implement future-oriented, equitable, whole child, personalized, competency-based systems.

Will the 2022 Symposium offer an Exhibit Hall or have any vendor opportunities?
We will not have an exhibit hall or vendors for the 2022 Virtual Symposium, but we do envision one in 2023 when we plan to be back in person.
What form of payments do you accept for Symposium 2022?
One page 2 of the registration form, you will have the option to pay by credit card or you can choose “invoice me” and enter a purchase order to pay by check.
