Research for Action (RFA) recently partnered with KnowledgeWorks to conduct a study analyzing how personalized, competency-based learning is taking hold across three states and their initial cohort of school districts. Mark Duffy, the lead researcher of this study, will facilitate a panel on the study findings, focusing the discussion on the perspectives of district leaders on strategies to support implementation and scale-up.

Session Learning Outcomes:

  1. Learn about models for building the district-level capacity needed to implement personalized, competency-based learning.
  2. Learn about the systems-change needed at the district-level to support the implementation of personalized, competency-based learning.
  3. Learn about district and school leadership models that can be utilized to drive and scale personalized, competency-based learning.
