Across the country, novel approaches to teaching and learning are making an impact on students. Still, accessing actionable practices and information from outside one’s network can be challenging. This interactive session, led by school and field leaders, creates space for school and district leaders to consider what equitable and student-centered learning means in their unique communities, what they’re still trying to learn, and where to access relevant information.

Session Learning Outcomes:

  1. Learn about the learning priorities and insights from four innovative schools in very different contexts, and discuss your own learning priorities.
  2. Explore a diverse, national set of innovative learning environments designed to advance equity and student-centered learning through the Canopy project.
  3. Collaborate with job-alike peers and share input on what practices to prioritize and how to best access, connect, and share such learning.
